I am 6'2 185lbs wear a 44 tall sport coat. Ordered this in a large and it fit really well. There won't be room for a lot of underlayers when it turns cold, but this is not my winter jacket. Bought this as fall-spring wet weather gear. The main zipper is a YKK, which is covered by a hook and loop storm flap. The rest of the zippers are some other brand, but they look fine. COMFY micro fiber on the neck band. It has 4 zippered outer pockets with stormflaps which are hook an loop to keep the flaps down- the two lower pocket flaps also have snaps. There are two pockets inside- one of them is for a cell phone. A nice feature here is that when you take out the zip-in liner, these two internal pockets are on the jacket, too. There are two snap adjusters on each sleeve to help keep the armor in place, two more under the arms for custom fit. Zippered air vents on each sleeve, two exhaust vents in the back. Beautiful, armored, waterproof -- perfect!
Wow! This is one sharp jacket! It has armor, vents, it's waterproof, and it is comfortable... Some jackets have high collars, to protect you from the rain, and the collars often cut into the throat area -- not this one. It has a high collar in the back, but the front has an elastic band over the throat, which is actually quite comfortable, even with the collar fully closed. It has a zip-out, quilted liner (full length sleeves that snap at the wrists to stay put) which is very warm. The sleeves have snaps to tighten the arms, if they are too bulky; the waist has nylon straps which can be tightened to give a perfect fit. The 3/4 length is nice, and it flares out a bit, below the waist, which is very comfortable. Surprisingly, this jacket has a zipper attachment in the back, which would allow it to be attached to certain brands of riding pants -- don't know if Mossi makes such pants, but you can find waterproof, armored pants from Xelement brand, that would be compatible with...

xl too big
I'm 6'2" 185lbs (no beer gut) wear a 44 tall sport coat. Got this x-large and it was too big. Prolly coulda used it in the winter with some underlayers, but I don't need winter gear. Sent it back- ( NO HASSLE !! GO AMAZON !! ) Ordered a large and life is good. Read my review on the large for more info.
